I thought it would go down the list, but Halo 4 is still second behind BO2.
Bit surprising, looking at how the population has been declining on Halocharts, but overall it’s still the 2nd most popular game on live.

You people just don’t understand what the Halocharts population means, and it’s been said in every thread where people use Halocharts population as a “omg halo 4 sux just look at this” card. Not even going to bother repeating. Just look up one of the 1000000 posts on this forum about it.
All in all, not surprised. Besides what else are people going to play but H4 and Blops 2? :-/

Really? CoD has almost always been number 1. Do I wish Halo 4 was number 1, yes.
HaloCharts tracks the daily peak population. Major Nelson’s list is based on unique users who logged on to Live while playing Halo 4, or total number of players who played it period. There’s a big difference. I’m not surprised that it’s still number two… I only wish people would play more Halo and less Black Ops so we could get back up to number one.
Only surprising to people who don’t understand the difference between war games peak population and UU’s…
Does it effect my search times? Nope. I am getting Blops II soon so I will be playing and enjoying both games soon.

halo 3 was #1 over cod4 for most of 2008. but when cod5 hit stores, halo never resumed the #1 spot except for launch weekend
Halo 3 held its position on that list for a very long time. Reach is dropping very low really fast. Congrats Bungie!

Call of Duty has become the online multiplayer juggernaut over the last few years anyone can see that, Halo was dethroned a long time ago.
Call of duty:Modern Warfare 3 grossed 400 million on its first day.
Black Ops 2 500 million
Of course it’s gonna be number one the games are doing better then Halo 3 every did sorry to bust your bubble if this many people bought Call of Duty 4:modern warfare back then Halo 3 would of got wrecked too.Halo will always be number 2.

they are definitely not doing better than halo 3. it was able to keep at least 2,000,000 for at least 2 1/2 years. call of duty dies down to 500,000 in months after its release. If halo 3 was multi-platform it would of decimate the amount of money that cod games make today.

For the 18000th time. Halo 3 showed the total users playing the game, not just those playing online AND was well known to be completely borked. H4 only shows the people playing in MM at that exact moment
