After 4 days of hard work from the Halo 4 FadeGamingTeam, we have finally re-imagined the famous Halo Reach forge map, Speed Halo. We originally wanted it to be a remake but due to different physics and lack of custom options, we were forced to re-imagine it. It is still very fun and true to the original. Some of the changes include:
Armor Abilities
Shortened tunnel due to lack of larger forge maps
No warthogs only mongoose’s(Warthogs were to overpowered and you will see why below)
Flood only have the energy sword due to lack of custom options, grenades and gravity hammer are gone
Human betrayal and suicides make them become infected
We have tested the game out in 3 different lobbies all with random people from our recent players list. After the game we asked them 4 questions:
- Other than the slight lag, how was your experience?
2 Did you like the map? - Would you play it again?
- Have you played the original speed halo in Halo Reach?
We received either no message or positive messages, no negative messages about the map. This is what people had to say:

The rest either didn’t respond or was in voice message.
