Whenever I press Y to try to watch the intro cutscene to any Spartan Ops episode, the game freezes for a second, half the screen goes black, and then I get a message saying “An error occurred while the film was playing.” Anyone having the same/similar problem or know a solution to it?
This never happened to me but try this, when you go into spartan op’s lobby scroll over to “view episodes” and you should be able to watch them there.
I didn’t notice that you could watch the episodes from there, but I tried watching it and had the same exact problem.
Yo! I had the same problem! I turned my HD resolution down to 720 and it started working. Try that?
I’m using the red, white, and yellow cables so I can’t change the resolution. Unless you mean for the TV instead of the xbox?
Damn I dunno buddy, see how many hertz you display is running at? Try changing that? Beyond that I don’t have any ideas? Do you have a component lead you could use?
Is anybody else having problems with not being able to watch the videos for the Spartan Ops? I haven’t been able to access them since Episode 10 came out…When I press Y to watch the videos the missions get a loading sign on them and then nothing happens. Is this a problem for anybody else? Is there a way to fix this?
Dude I’m having the same exactly problem and I know a friend who has it too.So if it’s there any way to fix it please tell me and if I find one I will tell you.Greetings.
For future reference:
I read some solutions to this problem from other forums like…
1.) Delete and re-download map packs.
2.) Profile transfer resets.
3.) Double file storage (same halo files on 2 or more drives in your console).
NONE of these worked. My problem started right after I downloaded the “Majestic” map pack and I’ve been trying to get answers all over the net including 343 and MS. So far no permanent or credible solutions were offered.
I’m still looking for a “fix”, preferredly a “permanent solution” to this issue so if anybody found one, please let me know and I’ll help spread this joyful news accross the web as best I can. Thanks.

Hi ppl, need a Lil help if you can. Nun of my Spartan ops will load. I have del all halo 4 data from my hdd an re installed it all including Spartan ops 1.0 and 1.5 with no success. I also cleaned my cash out an still no joy. Can any one help at all ?
