So I am writing this whilst waiting in the Spartan Ops “setting up game” area. This is the third time through that I am waiting to play a game
The problem is that Sniper Alley is in my opinion the best Spart Ops level and I therefore know it inside out and can complete it on legendary, on my own without dying in around 8-10mins. The issue I am having is that due to a small amount of players online I am not really getting a game. I have played just one game within the last hour. The problem also is that I could play solo and spend 10 minutes to get approx 2966 exp or IF i get a game online I end up with around 5950 exp. So it makes more sense to play online, if you get a game that is. What also annoys me is that normally I average around 80-90 of the 114 kills on Sniper Alley and the player I’m put with that gets a fraction of the kills gets the same amount of exp. I don’t understand why because when you look at the carnage report and you can see that I have 94 headshots all worth 10pts and a total of 940 all counts for nothing. Points are supposed to make prizes but it seems odd that they don’t count towards anything but also it is bizarre that a player who kills a fifth of the total kills and dies around 12 times gets the same 5950 exp, it doesn’t make sense. The other day when I selected Sniper Alley their was 16 players online. After waiting until it tells me to try again I get back to the menu and there was 23 online. Somehow there are 7 more players playing it but I haven’t been paired with any of them to play so again I’m waiting and waiting. It has just gone back to the menu now for a fourth time and there is apparently 14 players online. The issue I have is that I can be waiting for potentially hours just to play a 10 minute game. Also I personally feel that the Challenges for Spart Ops should be daily because challenges like this weeks: kill 55 grunts - done in 2 games and 45 watchers - done in 2 games. I’d rather get less exp but complete more challenges as it feels like you achieve more. I have spent roughly the last 2 hours on halo only managing to play one game on Spart Ops with someone ranked SR130 who only killed 9 and died 7 whilst I killed 105 and didn’t die and still only ranked SR77. I have played one other game of Solo on easy just to get the watcher kills for the weekly challenge and then I got pretty bored and so after waiting for ages decided to find the best place to inform you that some changes need making. I personally feel that if it can’t find any other players that it should let you play online solo so you don’t lose out on the bigger exp bounty. Please make something change because I am bored and Skyrim is calling me. Plus not everyone can afford an X1
