Hello, so, I received the message with the Halo 4 Avatar T-shirt code for completing the 5 missions of Spartan Ops, and upon reading this message I accidentally deleted it. I contacted Xbox Support via Forums and calling, but they directed me here as they had no control over the codes as it was sent by a 3rd party, that being 343.
They said that here I should be able to get help in this issue, even in possibly having the message recent with the code. I am very upset about this and I honestly think that for now on the avatar codes should only be sent by Xbox in emails rather than on Xbox’s messenger, that way if you delete a message it at least will show in your deleted folders history.
I was really looking forward to this avatar T-shirt and I waited very patiently for the codes come to me.
I, too, think that these codes should be sent to the e-mail address of the recipient as a failsafe. These problems wouldn’t happen as often if that were so.
