Halo 4 Spartan Models [Female Spartans]

I’ve been keeping pretty up to date on halo 4 news, the latest being forge, but something I have seen nothing of is the female spartan model. 343i did confirm there are female spartans in halo 4. I’ve went through all of the gameplay footage on the internet and found not a single one. I’m wondering if their going to look similar to reach or completely different. I’m talking body not armor, we already know h4 armor looks nothing like reach armor. I say that because the male spartan models look larger and more muscular than in reach.

Thoughts? Opinions?

Also I hope the shoulder pads don’t look like they are glue’d on like the reach females.

i think the reason we have not seen any is 1) custimization was locked for the playtests. 2 none of the playtesters were girls.

It has been confirmed that female Spartans are returning.

I’m sure the red spartan on this picture here is a spartan chick. Way too slim body for a male IMO.

Yerp. I’d like a model, though, something that would allow me to see said female.

I’m hoping 343i scales the armor for the females. On Reach armor was the same size on both male and female, it resulted in some armor looking too big on females.

Picture of a female spartan. She is the one in the red.

In that picture, the red Spartan looks the exact same as the blue Spartan. The blue Spartan looks bigger because s/he blends in with the background.

Pretty sure I’ve seen seen some women playing it in some videos. It’s more likely the female models aren’t finished yet.

Nope. Look at the red’s butt (not counting the small gray device which looks like an AA device from reach) and her calves. The difference is minor but noticeable. I’m sure the red guy is a female. Why would 343i show this pic anyway? The scattershot is nothing new, not to mention the armor both are wearing. There would be no reason for showing that pic.

In my opinion, the female Spartan’s should only be slightly recognisable. As much as I agree with a female model in the game, these are Spartan’s, not regular soldiers. They are genetically enhanced and modified + intense physical training. Their bodies should be very similar to each any other Spartan in terms of muscular build regardless of gender.

Forget that, A female should be able to strut her stuff if she wants to. Something Reach did very good with.

Plus genetically modified only modify what already exists, as Male and Female bodies look very different, even when in top shape. So theoretically after genetic modification they should still look different from one another.

Female Spartans should certainly be more muscly as they are Spartans afterall. Howeve they should still be distinct from males as there is always going to be a large physical difference between men and women.

I’ll give that. yeah that’s for sure a female. The arms are smaller, the neck is thinner, and the torso is less muscular. any full body shots?

mmmm all this talk about female spartans is getting my blood boiling

Technically, you’re correct. But I personally still preffered Halo 3’s system, where only the voice was different.

I think we should be able to customize are spartans to be Tall, fat, short or thin.

ever heard of hitboxes?

Draw backs.

Like Brink? you’d have to introduce a class system to each body size for balance because of hitbox differences.

Wouldn’t work in a Halo game, how would a big/fat Spartan drive a Warthog or Ghost? lol.
