Let me just first off say I love Halo 4, 343i has done a great job creating the game.
This is just a discussion thread reguarding if you like the new multiplayer appearance of the Spartans. Personally, I like Halo: Reach’s Spartans better than the modern Spartan IIIs (but I love the new progression system in Halo 4, Reach’s was so strange. [Warrant Officer] -.-). Personally I would rather have armor like Halo Reach’s in terms of that generation of Spartans- but with Halo 4’s progression and numerous options. Halo 4’s Spartans are obviously more modern, but the shoulders, chest, legs, and arm plates just don’t alter the appearance of the Spartan enough to feel rewarding. With Halo Reach- each armor piece was recognizable, distinct, and just frankly larger.
Again, I love what they did with Halo 4 and I do like the Spartan designs. Some of the heads are awesome, this is just in contrast with Halo Reach.
