I have waited for this game for a long time. Ever since I watched the end scene of Halo 3, I wanted to know what came next. I reserve the game, I got home and I loaded it to my HDD. The first thing that got me was that it was in Spanish (I live in Chile). I thought “Oh, just tweak the audio settings to English”. To my horror, the was no such tweak. I am sure that I am not the only one with this issue. Master chief and Cortana sound weird in Spanish, not to mention the fact that the voice actors sound as they couldn’t give a damn and give a feel as if the were cutting their nails. I paid a lot of money for the limited edition. I didn’t expect this hiccup. 343 should give a patch or something for the English audio. It’s like listening to Jim Carey with Steven Segall’s voice, it just doesn’t work. Who’s with me on this?
the kinda did the same with Fable III i believe, release English later post launch. i agree, i would like to listen to the original voices also and it is possible to release the laguage later
There are quite a few posts complaining about the way they shipped the game with only one language. I am attempting to find as many of those and adding them as a favorite, that in turns adds a +1. I’m hoping that if people complain enough, they will release a free patch on Live. I’m being very patient by still playing the game, but the situation is just pushing me more towards CoD.
I have the same problem. I work/live in Spain at the moment.
I bought Assassins creed 3 in one of the ‘Game’ stores here in spain, and the lady told me it was only in spanish. ‘are you sure?’ and yes, she was. I bought it anyway, and to my relief it was in Norwegian (from Norway duh) and so i figured it’s all about the console settings. So i adjusted the sone on console settings to United Kingdom, and voala - It’s in english.
And therefore i just bought halo 4 regardless of the salesman who told me ‘it is only in spanish’
To my big disappointment it actually was in spanish. not the menu or texting, but ingame - when Master Chief and Cortana are having their dialogs. It messed up half of the experience. I truly hope they can work something out here.

Can’t you adjust your location/language in the XBOX Dashboard to a English speaking location/language?
That is what I did, or else all the text(thankfully not the language) would be in Danish… horrible.
