for halo 4 i think we should have a more original homescreen soundtrack like halo 1 2 and 3 this may sound stupid but being a original halo player it would make the feel of playing this game better…
I wouldn’t say it would make a huge difference, but it would definitely give me that Halo feeling when I boot up. The main theme for 1, 2, and 3 were my favorite of the bunch.
I agree but neil wouldnt copy the previous music which is understandable but i havnt made any connections with music far its been really disappointing for me. Music in halo has always had a big influence on me and its the very thing that helps make the story more interesting.
I know neil still has more music to release and we still need to hear it in the gameplay but i have a gut feeling im not going to like his work.

On that note, I’m loving what Neil Davidge has done, it’s different yet very familiar. I wouldn’t mind either way, but being a new series I think we need a new theme song.
I used to love how music played in the menu, and I really want it to be more diverse and common than Reach (more like Halo 3). Am I the only one who would wait at the menu for “Never Forget” to finish?
We’re not going to have the same theme as before, but it would be nice to have a new one that gives you that same feeling when you listen to it. Ah, the memories…
