I downloaded my pre-ordered copy through iTunes this morning. it should be out in North America everywhere today!

Personally, i’m completely in love with it. It’s grandiose, works in some of the themes from Halo’s past, and does a good job of being very new, fresh, and exciting, while staying faithful to the feeling of Halo’s music. A++ would buy again.

I’m reserving myself to listening to the OST at the moment. As much as I want to listen to the simply beautiful work Neil has done from what I have heard, I want to experience them with the game and more importantly the relevant scenario and story behind them.
I feel that way I am more affiliated to each individual piece and it’s emotions more 
It’s probably the best halo soundtrack, it’s really emotion invoking.

I totally understand where you’re coming from. I just couldn’t wait 
I am absolutely loving it! 117 is easily my favorite track thus far. Nemesis and To Galaxy are close seconds. Neil Davidge has done an amazing job!
I’ve been listening to it nonstop for days, and I’ve got to say it’s really up there for me. It has some really emotional pieces in there, and some good general action songs, too. 117 is a great mix of the two. Red and Blue, Legacy, Haven, and Requiem provide a lot of emotion. It’s up there with the Halo 2 score for me.

Absolutely blown away by it. My favourite tracks are Solace, green and blue, 117 and nemesis.
My favorites are probably Solace, Green and Blue, and 117 takes first prize. Which is kind of funny, since 117 is only track not composed by Neil Davidge…
AMAZING!
Requiem, Haven, Solace, Revival and Green and Blue are by far the most emotional, love it.
Very good. I have to listen to it again but I think there is the classic Halo Theme (as well as other classic themes maybe) which is hidden in several tracks.
Anyway, so far my favorite track has to be “Revival”. It goes crescendo in epicness. Looking forward to hear this in-game !

Then this morning I check my email and notice that they sent me a free digital copy, I’ve been listening to it ever since, and I’m extremely impressed. It goes above and beyond the samples that have been released so far.
I can’t say it’s better than the other Halo soundtracks, because this one is in a class of it’s own.
Immaterial is probably one of my favorites so far.
Very emotional soundtrack. I really like the direction that Neil has taken it.

Lucky. I never even got an email telling me the limited edition got delayed. I"m kind of annoyed.

I would be too, I don’t know why they wouldn’t inform you.
Some of the contents in it would include spoilers, so they had to delay it until the game comes out apparently. Dem sad feels.

That really sucks! On the bright side, you’re getting the awesome collector’s edition… I couldn’t get one since it would have been 140$ after I paid for taxes and shipping… So I opted out, and yes, that was with the cheapest possible shipping…
I was very iffy about the the new music direction at first but there are times where I have some of Niels scores already stuck in my head… Its starting to really feel like Halo.
Edit: I just bought the album on iTunes. This is the first Halo soundtrack I’ve ever bought.

First Halo OST I bought, too. I got the limited edition since I oculd actually afford it and really want to build up my Halo collection. I wonder what number my LE is?

117 is simply amazing.
