All the music featured in Halo 4 should be included in the soundtrack album.
Random songs should not be scattered around the album with cues and pieces omitted, neither should the soundtrack be arranged in suite format.
Rather, the album should consist of individual songs identical to and organized in the order heard in the game.
For example, all of the music heard at the title screen should be placed at the beginning of the album.
The first song heard during the first mission should be placed directly after the last song heard during the menu or title screen. The final song in the final mission should be placed directly before the music played during the credits, which should be placed at the end of the album.
Music that was not heard during the game, such as bonus tracks, should not be present in the album at the expense of music that was in the game.
This will provide a complete and seamless listening experience for Halo fans.
I think any and all songs should be separate on the album. Every once in a while they tend to put several songs on the same track. I really don’t care what order they’re in.

Yeah, but maybe this new guy will be a bit more clean with the album.

If the Halo 4 soundtrack is anything like the Halo: Anniversary soundtrack, we have a problem. The tracks were all over the place.
The cleanest album was Halo 3, and even that was made up of short little suites with quite a bit of omitted music (Halo 3 title music anyone?).
The messiest albums were Halo 2 by far. They didn’t even manage to include all the music in the game. Reach and ODST were made up entirely of really long suites.

The Halo 2 album was obsessed with Breaking Benjamin and Incubus.
I would appreciate individual songs for a change however.

I would too, and that’s why I posted this. Not that it’s getting very many replies… Oh well.
I actually compiled a new Halo 2 soundtrack… completely reorganized with all of the music heard in the game in order (some ripped from H2V when I couldn’t find it in the soundtracks), and none of the bonus Odyssey rubbish. I added the instrumental version of Blow Me Away heard in the game, and there’s no suites, either.
