Halo 4 so much better the Reach

So ive been playing matchmaking in Halo 4 and have to say I really enjoy it compared to the abomination of a game called Halo Reach. This game to me feels like a heavy mix between Reach and Halo 3. You still have the -Yoink- armor abilities from Reach but the DMR isn’t completely useless. I find my self actually getting in some pretty good DMR/BR battles and it just feels satisfying. Also the maps are fun to play unlike in Reach. In Reach it just seemed like they remade a bunch of old maps but didn’t adjust for the new play style they created. But in Halo 4 the maps just feel fresh and well thought out to me. The game mechanics feel so much smoother to. IDK maybe I played way to much Halo 3 but Reach I felt slow and off pace compared to prior Halo Games but in 4 I seem to move like i’m back in Halo 3 and its great to be able to jump again. Now all that being said I still feel like all the armor abilities and the sprint function just don’t belong in a Halo game. This isn’t -Yoinking!- call of duty what made Halo great to me was the fact that everyone started on level ground and then you fought to control power weapons and key map points. That was how you won but now it just feels like Activision bought out 343 and decided to try and make Halo more like COD. Now that we have better maps why is it that only 4 of them ever seem to pop up in a playlist. I like to play slayer and ive only ever played on 4 different maps yet this game was shipped with tons more so what gives there? Over all Halo 4 is a huge step up but doesn’t quite hit that Halo sweet spot. Its a great game and I will continue to play it.

Halo 4 has a lot of potential. Reach is what got me playing CoD in the first place. I hated equipment in halo 3 so I really hate AAs but they’re more of a second thought in Halo 4 compared to Reach. Reach seemed to AA oriented. You can pretty much play Infinity Slayer without ever using an AA.
