I think the last “battle” with the Didact seemed more like a cut-scene than a actual boss battle. And there shouldn’t be a boss battle, because boss battles didn’t necessarily fit into halo games. The only exceptional one was in Halo 2 against tarturus, and that was because there were other brutes making it more like a regular battle.
Also they should had made a ending that would keep me wanting more and not just thinking MORE random conclusions for Halo 5. Whoever did the storyline for Halo Combat Evolved, Halo 2 and Halo 3 should be making the story for halo 4, and so on.
Fable 2 and Halo 4 have something in common.

Halo: CE didn’t have a real plot hook other than “I think we’re just getting started”. At least we’re getting Spartan Ops to hopefully bridge the gap between Halo 4 and Halo 5.
I didn’t want to have a boss battle with the Didact for fear it would have ruined Halo 4 for me.
I’m content with the QTE cutscene ending vs the Didact personally.
