i think that it should work like the cod one an it would draw in new players and help them learn how to play, you also wudent have those “HOW HE KILL ME?!” moments anymore. i relize this is from cod, dont flame me.

Yeah instead of first person kill cam maybe a replay on 3rd person so it’s a little different then COD. I hate getting killed and have no clue how it happened…
Why no killcam?
1: It’s copying CoD.
2: We got this thing called radars.
3: We also got this thing called damage indicator (tells where your getting shot from)
4: Would be a let down to sniper lovers as they’d only get 2 or 3 kills before being blown out of their hiding spots.
5. Gives away your tactics and where you’re going so the enemy knows where to crouch and then suddenly kill you because he knows what path you took to his base.
6. There wouldn’t be many hiding spots left in Halo.
7: No one really wants it.
But a winning killcam would be neat.
AND A BETRAYAL CAM IS ESSENTIAL…
okay but y wud they do all that work just to put in a kill cam that will be used 1 times a game tops? hmmmmm

We already have one when we die we face the direction we die on the death scene
Personally I loath kill cams, they are annoying, I much rather spend me time repawning and kicking -Yoink-, not seeing how some one killed me.

you would be able to get out of it at any time by pressing a button, it would just help new players, since people who just join in from other games get destroyed and just throw away the game
Kill cams are a way to combat camping. It lets you see where a sniper is camping from or where the guy is crouching in a corner. They do no good in a game where everyone is constantly moving most of the time.

Thats why before any game that you play online, you should go through the campaign or story mode on the easiest difficulty the first time you play, then the next difficulty, then you go online to see if your able to hold your own. If you can finish the campaign on Heroic, then I dont see why not. But even when you die your camera faces the direction of your killer so I think the problem isnt killcams, its your skill and lack of experience on how the game works
i hate kill cams in Battlefield 3 it make me stop being a sniper and i do not ever want it to be in halo 4

OT: No I dont think this is a good idea because of the fact that camping is apart of Halo, whether its the guy in the sword room, guy sniping or that guy with the shotty by the flag. Kill cams make things less realistic and also make it less satisfying when you finally kill that guy that just got a Killing Frenzy in the sword room on The Pit.

Because a regular killcam serves little to no purpose. I doubt that many people actually sit and watch the killcam after each and every death in CoD (I know I sure don’t, and a lot of people I know don’t). Can you see how and from where you were killed? Sure. Does that really matter that much with how halo is set up right now? No, as odds are you are going to know where and with what a person killed you with already because of the camera facing the person you got killed by after you died for a few seconds, and you can easily realize what gun they are shooting you with as soon as you look at them or are shown them after you die.

In Reach, and Halo 3 if I recall correctly, the camera directs you toward the direction if who just killed you. That’s good enough.

No, because Bungie made halo 3 with theatre mode which was one of the reasons they made it. in Halo which is more competitive then cod in MM you have to adapt quick. you get shot you shouldnt be like “oh there he is” it should be about thinking quick under pressure if you try to play competitive. casually you can still play but for those that are competitive go back in theatre mode and see what happened and how it was done. also for theatre mode they should go back to halo 3 where you could have people in party watch.
no, we have theater for that, and the camera already pans toward who killed you, kill cams may sound cool but they become annoying very fast
I wouldnt mind it. Almost everytime im killed in any game I want to understand exactly how it happened.
Perhaps 343i could figure out a way to include it without copying CoD.
