Seriously? i think it would be the end of halo if it has kill streaks, why you may ask? well as so clearly demonstrated by Call of Duty, killstreaks heavily suit experienced players, while newcomers/ people who dont have much time to play the game, wont have as big of an opportunity to earn these kill streaks.
could you imagine that your ready to cap a flag, and a mini mac round comes and kills you? it would be unfair and overpowered (allthough it would look cool)
As to the road you have to take to get the killstreaks… well you obviously need kills right? well what better way to get kills than with power weapons or vehicles? well there is already a problem with dumb -Yoink- players betraying for power weapons and so fourth, so if you add killstreaks into the mix, then that will just add fuel to the fire with killstreak hungry players doing whatever it takes to get their hands on the all important power weapons.
As for the iron sights, i agree, it would add a whole new look and feel to halo…
These are quite possibly the 2 worst ideas for Halo 4 ever. Everyone’s always complaining about how Halo shouldn’t be exactly like CoD, but giving it ADS and kill streaks would make it a futuristic CoD copy.
These 2 ideas should never be in Halo. If they ever are, that’ll be the day I stop playing Halo.
New additions and features can be good when implemented right, sometimes they are needed. BUT, THAT DOES NOT MEAN THEY HAVE TO BE COMMON FEATURE THAT ARE IN EVER OTHER FPS ANYONE CAN THINK OF.
Iron sights and kill streaks should NEVER be in Halo. Halo can change, but it should only change in ways that will still keep Halo’s uniqueness, just because it needs to evolve doesn’t mean it has to follow the same rout as every other game. Halo needs to evolve in its own way.
Any real fan of a game should be able to tell by the overall gameplay of that game that what certain features would never fit, iron sights fall into that category. Unless 343 pulls off a miracle iron sights would just ruin Halo.
Halo’s my favourite game because its unique, and has its own great style of gameplay. Not many games today are really different. If we keep putting all these mainstream features in to Halo its going to lose what makes it great.
Halo should evolve but in its own way. I don’t want to play Halo/COD, I want to play Halo. Enough with the mainstream features.

It’s already got perks and classes, might as well go the full distance.
Lol. Killstreaks only encourage camping. Aiming down the sights only encourages the Stop 'n Pop style that’s infecting FPS’s now-a-days, and Halo thankfully still uses the Run 'n Gun style (but Halo even dumbs down the style further than PC games).

First off that’s a very close minded thing of you to say. That’s like me saying that anyone that likes COD is a total -Yoink!-. Second of all… No. Halo may be drifting off from what it used to be, but it will never sink that low.
