All of these problems with connection and hackers and lagswitch and playlist updates would be irrelevant in a Halo 4 PC game with dedicated servers.

Why? There are good halos on pc.
I think Halo 4 would be amazing on PC. There aren’t really many PC games with gameplay similar to Halo. Crysis is probably closest. However their are MANY games which play like COD, such as Counter-Strike.
Unfortunately I don’t think there is any chance it will happen. Halo and GOW are the only two real Xbox exclusives, and Microsoft wouldn’t want to lose that. Plus games on the Xbox make Microsoft more money than on Windows, such as by being able to charge for multiplayer. Then there is the Piracy argument, regardless of how incorrect it is.
Besides Halo 4 on PC would be crippled by the malware that is GFWL.
