So if you’ve seen the first Sherlock Holmes, you’ll know he’s an unfathomable, amazing genious who can solve any crime, and could never be outwitted. Going into see Sherlock Holmes 2 this weekend I was expecting more of the same, but got much more then I had expected.
You see, Sherlock finally meets that professor dude (who’s name eludes me…)he sees that he is not the only super insane genious man anymore, in fact, he can barely compete with him. Sherlock is continuously outwitted by this magestic college man, until the end where we figure out that Sherlock has been keeping up with him very secretivley to everyone in the theatre’s audience.
Get me? Got me? Great.
This concept should be used with the Chief. We know him, we’ve witnessed his badassery on numerous occasions, but what if he encounters someone a little tougher? 343i said themselves that they wanted to explore what it would be like for the Chief to experience failure, and I think that Sherlock Holmes 2 pretty much paints the picture of what a hero’s failure should look like.
343i, take a staff field trip. Go to theatre. Watch Sherlock. Take Notes. Make Halo 4.

No No NO it will never happend if chief shows his face halo will be ruined for me
Nice idea, but wrong movie. Sherlock Holmes was crap compared to Surf’s Up. Y’know with the penguins surfing? Following me? Good! Now what needs to happen is Chief does find someone tougher than he is to be a rival. The story starts out with Chief in a flashback how he was the best surfer on Earth, but on the new shield planet he’s not so great with the new gravity. Just like Cody Maverick wasn’t used to real waves, see? Oh! and he befriends a jackal that’s a surfer too for comedic effect just like Chicken Joe, but we can call him Jackal Joe.
So anyways… Master Chief gets discouraged and goes off on his own only to find a fat forerunner that used to be the greatest surfer ever known. The game follows along with you collecting materials for a sweet anti gravity surf board to win the contest and beat Chief’s rival, but at the end of the new and majorly improved Halo story. Chief learns a valuable lesson in having fun when contests and winning aren’t so important after all!
