[sigh] Regrettably no, it will always be Black Ops as they have a much larger fanbase to support them.
BO 2 will obviously get more players, but Halo 4 will last longer.
I know if i worked at 343i right now i would be living a nightmare. They are trying to steal players from the COD franchise, and not even a week later the next COD game drops.
Real Halo fans are going to be left to pick up the pieces…

Wow, so immature. Halo 4 will be a new game of its own, under the influence of 343i.
With all do respect, it is more Reach then Halo. AA Sprint DMR No 1-50 added randomness the only way they can call it Halo is by adding MC and Cortona.
All the little kids will get Halo 4 play it for a week and then get blackops 2. This won’t matter to 343 as they will have sold copies of their game making a nice profit which seems to be the only thing developers care about nowadays. Just my 2 cents.

That isn’t their intent. Besides, it’s not like they would get that many anyway, CoD is a multiplatform franchise. Seriously, the conspiracy theories are hilarious.

1-50 is terrible, and 343i is replacing it with something better.
DMR was a good gun, AND the BR is in the game.
How is the game random? Care to elaborate?
We don’t need all this negativity, Halo 4 will be an amazing game and a huge success.

If your going to judge its age based on the new features and game play style, I’d say Halo 4 is already a pretty damn old game.
Just go back in weekly updates and you will find what Im talking about
I would love to see Halo (Or any series for that matter) Overtake CoD for once. But it will not happen. Not for a long time, at least.

Halo Reach is halo. Remember Bungie made Halo Reach, Its still halo no mater who makes it.

Ah yes features neither of us have 100% context with.
Seeing as how Black Ops 2 will only be supported until Fall 2013, when the next Call of Duty game comes out, Halo 4 will definitely last longer and have more lasting support.
However, I also believe that Halo 4 will be the better game, at least I know I will enjoy it more. The new additions to the game are great, and I cannot wait to get my hands on it!
Black Ops sucks
BO will have more players, but H4LO will last longer mainly because it’s players airn’t gonna switch to the new military FPS.
