So, this has been going on all day for me. Been forced to not play spartan ops (the fastest way to level), and instead forced into small games where I incur 1/4th normal XP.
Players are dropping every game, it’s so bad that 7/10 games I just played left me with ‘victory’ immediately, as the other team never loaded into the game. What a waste of my time.
Call of Duty comes out tonight. As ridiculous as requiring someone to hit LEVEL 50 before checking out the specializations, I was excited about hitting them and trying them out.
Although with all the nonsense involving non LE customers only accessing 2 of them, coupled with my inability to even play the game at the current moment, it’s likely I’m willing to shelf this game and play COD a few weeks until the crowds die down.
343, you made a great game, but your handling of multiplayer is amateur at best.
The same thing is happening to me. I’m not sure if you know what’s happening but we’re in what’s called ‘fallback hoppers’ which is basically backup servers for Halo 4. In the servers you cannot earn as much XP as you would in a normal server, you can’t play with people outside the servers (it will say ‘unable to connect’ if you’re trying to connect to a friend)and you cannot play Spartan Ops. The other forums said that people are put in fallback hoppers if you have not downloaded any recent content, which obviously isn’t the case for the both of us. I’ve tried contacting 343 and some of their personnel through Twitter, but they’re not responding. 343 seems to be neglecting the hundreds of people stuck in the fallback hoppers.
I’m totally with you on this one, 343 is a real amateur when it comes to maintaining severs. I’ve been stuck in the servers for a day and a half so far.
i get this now and again but not all the time, yesturday i had it for about 2 hours and 2 days before i had it for 1 and a half hours, not a huge problem for me cos i just carry on, on my forge map packs but it is VERY frustrating
Wait…so you want to play COD for a few weeks so the crowds will die down here? You do realize it will probably be a lot busier over in that cesspit of mediocrity right?
