Will there be any plans to bring Halo 4 back up or are we getting Halo 4 online dropped early?
I am betting that it is being perma-dropped in favor of the Halo 4 MCC servers.

It sucks cuz I wanted to reach Mastery before its gone forever. I’ve been pushing hard and at lvl 117, they promised servers would be up till December…plenty of time left

I was gonna say, they’re not supposed to be dropped before December 18 at the earliest. Must have just been unrelated issues.
I don’t think so because there is more community on it, in halo 3 and halo reach servers will close, I think halo 4 will follow too.

Halo 4 will definitely be closing. The console is two generations old now, MCC Halo 4 has a more consistent player-count than Legacy ever had 6-months after launch, and once they port over the last three Tactical Packages and Support Upgrades that have yet to be brought in, there will be practically no reason to keep Legacy H4 online.

yes you are totally right.
I think it may have been due to the halo infinite beta but definitely all will close down that’s a given but a promise is a debt and they owe the community atleast till December.

The server just went down again i think. Played the last match half an hour ago, decided to change the playlist and since then its searching and getting the “You’re not connected to XBL” message after a while
