UPDATE: 9/16/18 Servers have been down for several days. 343, PLEASE fix.
Hi! I started playing yesterday evening and noticed that too… Is it a temporary problem or did they shut down server forever?
I wonder if this is why the challenges are having problems too. I completed the first campaign challenge and got credit for it. Then I completed the second and got credit for it but lost the credit and XP for the first. I redid the first and then lost the credit and XP for the second. And now, a day later, I don’t have credit for either.

It has happend before, I’m sure they will fix it like they always do. 
If they were to shutdown the servers completely I’m sure they would have made an announcement about it.

Yeah it’s just the servers being funky. Hopefully it gets fixed soon

same for me, challenges will never be completed
there still down when it will be working again i don’t know i hope ist soon.

Yeah it’s always less than a week

Are the gonna give us 2x(number of days of server down) challanges? LOL

> Just making this post to let people know the Halo 4 servers are down. It’s still playable but only on backup servers. From what I’ve experienced, kills you get on the backup servers don’t count towards your stats. So, hopefully they get fixed soon.

I’ll try getting the ‘Reclamation’ campaign challenge for the third time this week using MythicTyrant’s shortcut route. I’m glad this didn’t happen after I completed a crazy challenge like ‘To Infinity and Beyond’ because I would have been pissed not to get the credit.
EDIT: And the campaign challenges still aren’t working. Went through ‘Reclamation’ once again definitely on Legendary with Mythic, Tilt, Thunderstorm, and Tough Luck and now I didn’t get it checked off or the XP. I’m skipping challenges for a couple of weeks.

How long has this been going on
Servers appear to be down again , as of Fri Sep 14. I get an error message that says ‘information could not be retrieved from Xbox live’ when I try to get into big team battle. That’s sad.
