The title pretty much covers the problem. It has been like this for at least over 10 hours by now. To make thinks worse i believe it was h4’s birthday yesterday when it occured.
Anyway, how long does such a thing usually take? i still need to finish some challenges in order to complete the game, that i started on the xbox one after it became backwards compatible.

7th nov 2017- HALO4 server issues been going on now for over 36 hours, I contacted Microsoft support last night and they said I was the only person to complain or mention it. do you really think I’m going to believe that MS, what that I’m the only person in the world to contact you. MS then told me to empty my cache, don’t blame my xbox MS, its your servers. there was 16 of my friends together last night, all stuck on SR1 default loadouts. not only that. but every time it found a game it would reset and start searching again, 6 times in a row for us. I just checked with halo4 and still the servers are down, UK time 21.56 7th nov 2017

I was hoping this tread will be noticed by some moderator that can then relay the problem to whoever can fix this.
There are no more Challenges to see, or get. I watched on halo4stats.waypoint that i did not complete a challenge despite of meeting the conditions
There is no possibility to play Spartan Ops anymore
Me and all players i meet online are at SR1
It is really not cool that some achievements are currently unobtainable so short after this game becoming backwards compatible, hope it will be fixed soon.

It has been known for quite some time the servers would be limited come November 2017. They posted a video about the changes a few months back, hope this helps

I had to make sure it wasn’t my Xbox crashing on me! Hoping it gets resolved soon. Maybe if enough people comment, one of the moderators will notice?

How the hell am i supposed to know this, it makes absolute NO sense to proudly announce only recently that the xbox one as a platform is going to be as complete as possible when halo4 that only just became bc is now very limited.
Thanks Roovers for letting me know, if this means that this is going to be the only halo game i will not be able to complete then im going to be -Yoinking!- angry though.

Somebody has an update?
I really hope it gets fixed soon, its been like this for 2 days. Its my absolute favorite Halo and it just blows to have the servers down
Same problem here -_-
My guess is, they might be fixing the lag issues due to the recent backwards compatibility, as Xbox One and 360 connections don’t really go well, I don’t know much but I do know there seems to be issues with lag once in a while and reaches a point where it gets ridicolous.
