The servers are not down for me (I live in Ontario, Canada). It is most likely just your internet connection, as sometimes a slow internet at times can do this. Just unplug your router for 30 seconds and plug it back in, and you connection should be fine again.

Me and some other people were trying to join parties and custom games but the server was saying unable. And my wireless network has great internet connection. This is the first time they’ve been down for me for a long time.

They’re not necessarily “down”, there’s some issues going on. It’d show I was SR1 and with default armor. Also the same thing as people have said about not being able to join parties.
Just wait it out and everything should be back to normal.
Was unusually laggy earlier, normally perfect, but all seems good. I’m in Texas US. Servers are up.

Something’s definitely up. I can’t view waypoint stats and loading up service records in-game is slow as molasses. I’ve seen SR130s show up as SR1 with recruit armor just now in a lobby.
