I was playing Halo 4 matchmaking this morning, and after a match mine and my friends rank were set to SR1, although when we press START, our ranks are normal, mine a SR33 and him SR70. I can’t access spartan ops, my challenges, and I can’t earn commendations. And whenever I try matchmaking or looking at my service record, it states the Halo 4 servers are unavailable. And it has said that for the past 4 hours. Does this mean I am banned? Or what has happened?

I have had the exact same thing, does anyone know more about it? Such as when they are gonna fix this?

I’m sorry, but this has happened at least once in every Halo game that I can recall. It’s a common occurrence, and nothing to be worried about, but I should have known that TC didn’t know that. My apologies.

doing some reading through the FAQ its most possible that there having server problems and have placed us on a “failback hopper” though personally i dont understand how my freinds account is fine and hes playing properly still and mines been placed on this thing when were both around the same level.if anyone knows how to get us off the failback hopper could they let us know.

why all my fried play halo normally?
Crazy. We have 2 consoles in same house and 1 doing the fallback hopper crap and the other is fine. Just started doing this yesterday before lunch
Called a fallback hopper and its what allows you play when even the servers are down, just reduces the gameplay pretty much. Porbably the only good idea that 343 put in especially considering theyre down ALOT.
