Title says it all. If you were planning on getting first series of the halo 4 figures they are for sale at toysrus.com and in stores. Just bought me the master chief from my local toysrus. Series 1 includes Cyro tube with a Master Chief figure, Master Chief, Elite Zealot, a Grunt, and a red Spartan IV.
ATM you can buy the master chief+ cyro tube or single master chief on toysrus.com
However the rest of series 1 is available in stores. My local toysrus had all of the ones I listed.
Should be noted, the quality and articulation on the halo 4 master chief figure is amazing compared to the 10th anniversary master chief figure.
I never saw any announcement of the release of these figures, hence why I’m posting.

@ Nfected Spartan: A bit off-topic: Ever notice how target feels a bit more welcoming too? Like compared to walmart. Target, it feels calm and in some other large stores it feels like I need to sort of hurry. Something that has to do with the design, I’ve read a little about it.
Haha yeah target does have a chill atmosphere. Question, did you actually confirm they had them in your local target store, and if so, what was the price? I paid 14.99+tax totaling 16.24 at a toysrus.
I actually managed to get the Cryo-Chamber Chief at target. It was about five bucks cheaper there than ToysRus is selling it for, apparently.

Target has the cryo chamber, the 4-pack box set and ODST drop pod haven’t seen the single figures yet except at Meijer where I live. The box set was 39.95 and the drop pod was 44.95 or something like that
I got the target exclusive 4pack today. It has Chief, Elite, storm grunt, and a Blue Spartan IV.
The good: The elite and grunt are freaking awesome!! The elite’s articulation, molding, and paint are all amazing. the armor has that metalic sheen to it. and here is something interesting, the armor looks almost…biotechish. it has a chitinish, crabshellish look to it, the bumps and spiny looking potrutions especially on the tigh armor remind me of a shell fish. really eally cool. it stands like a dream!! if you bought any of the elites from the reach line then you know that the feet on them made them hard to stand and keep standing, and mcfarlane just would not fix them. these are mor like the Halo 3 line feet.
the grunt looks awesome too. the armor is very smooth and rounded. articulation is great, it has the same type of shoulders, knees, and elbos as the elites and spartans which is phenominal. the feet are very different from the grunts we know. they have four toes! and rock like scales.
the armor on Master Chief and the S-IV are cool as hell and the articulation is great
The Bad. no wrist articulation on the grunts wrists and the angle of the hands make it very wierd looking when you put the plasma pistol in a normal position. i have it like he is gripping it with his fingers to look like he is shooting it.
the top and bottom fingers of the elite are also in a wierd position that make holding the plasma sword very loose even with the movable middle fingers. i have had to use a small rubberband to keep the sword tight in his hand and prevent it from falling out.
one asthetic problem i have with the design of the spartan IV’s armor is the feet. he litterally look like he is wearing clown shoes. they are terrible looking.
and my biggest complaint is that the master chief and spartan feel very cheap. they have little weight to them and feel almost hollow. they are very thin especially around the waist. and they dont look as bulky as the reach spartans.

didnt see any cryo chambers or odst drop pods. looking for them
The drop pod is huge I ended up not getting it but I will, with a little paint it will look great if my kid doesn’t take from me 
Yeah I just saw them today on Target along with the new Halo avatar figures sad thing though is that some poor kid wanted a Halo 4 action figure so badly that he opened and tried to steal it and the minute he walked out of Target the cops were waiting to arrest him he should have just bought it instead.
i didnt see any avatar fig either. OH!! but i did see the micro ops figures. they look ok. i might throw some money at them after i get the regular figs and a few avatar figs. the banshee and falcon looked pretty cool.
Toys R Us also has the odst drop pod. I saw it when I went there earlier but didnt realize it was associated with halo 4. Thing is like huge. Infact it caught me by surprise and picked it up for a quick glace. If I remember correctly it was like 45 bucks. Wish I could afford that thing =P
Has anyone checked walmart? Their website lists them having all the Megablocks stuff, and it says they have 5 action figures but the page gets an error and wont display them
On a side note, if anyones trying to snatch up some of the older Halo reach figures, specificly Emile, figurines for all has some Emile figures for 26 bucks. Stores do not seem to carry him anymore because he seems to be reach series 1.
Amazon also has Emile, but hes like 40+ bucks on there, and even on ebay for an unopened one

That indeed appears to be the drop pod but with a very incorrect price.
Also for those that do not have a target/toysrus nearby, Gamestop’s website has the deluxe Master Chief+Cyro Chamber and the Deluxe ODST Drop Pod. The prices are a little higher here.
