Halo 4 Seeming Like Call of Duty

Halo is gonna lose its charm that way.

What happen to the Halo we used to know?

The INFINITY SLAYER gametype for example:

A new twist on the traditional Slayer experience that now allows Spartans to earn points during the course of a match which can eventually be leveraged to call in ordnance from overhead. Ordnance drops within Infinity Slayer consist of three selectable but randomly generated weapons or power-ups, the latter which can alter the Spartans speed, shielding, or ability to issue damage.

Sounds like Call of Duty to me. Ordnance from overhead?

What happen to the classic weapons spawning on the ground?

I always thought that was the Halo way.

What do you guys think?

First off STOP comparing Halo to Call Of Duty, both games are completely different and need change to progress with the standards of the gamer’s who have played them.

second…I said everything in the first statement…

It’s just an evolution of Invasion Slayer in Reach. The majority of people don’t realize how many aspects of Invasion have been used for 343’s “new” experiences, such as the musical cues.

Ummm no…
Also copy/paste thread much?

stop making threads about this its stupid and in no way is Halo seeming like call of duty. If thats your opinion get off this forum and don’t get the game.

The other thread got locked for a reason don’t make another one.

I’m sorry OP but your thread is all kinds of stupid. First Halo 4’s PODs are very different than CoDs killstreaks. Namely because in CoD they are killstreaks as in dependent on kills, Halo 4’s PODs are from medals.

Second CoDs KS are things that for the most part that do the killing for you, Halo 4’s PODs are weapons and power ups so you still need your skill to do the killing.

Also I lol’d hard at you thinking “over head” meant air strikes when it literally means over head as in drops from the sky as a package.

Also good job on remaking a locked thread.

Thank you good sir.

I play both COD and Halo… I find the point-and-shoot aspects of both games to play out very differently. Imo high level game concepts like Ordnance drops / care package will not change the core point-and-shoot gameplay.

No, it won’t.

Combat evolved.

No, it’s actually pretty different.

Nothing. Halo 4 will feature weapon layouts on every map.

Anything else?

Many people think so, many don’t. It’s up to you to decide.

Now enough with these threads…

NB4LOCK

Seriously just stop with these threads people. They bring no benefits.

It’s readily apparent that civil and constructive discussion on this subject is quite impossible, so I’m locking this. Please refrain from making comparison threads which will draw the ire of the community. In the end, they turn into flame bait. Thanks for understanding.
