if Spartans can’t swim, how the hell do get on and off them?
when you have airplanes, you don’t need boats anymore.
boats are slow, are limited to an ocean/sea, can’t dodge missiles, and unless you have a boat-carrier ship, you can only use them in one planet once they are deployed.
basically, airships of any kind > sea-ships of any kind.

This is why the US Navy invented the Phalanx CIWS
and why the Russians Invented the Panstir-S1
and if you shoot down an airship, you can’t save that many people in it
on a ship, they can be saved…if they can swim
the primary reason why the UNSC has…not alot of boasts is beacause Space is the new Ocean
now fighting the covenant, we need a way to defend ourselves, and boats won’t cut it
but keep in mind the UNSC has a few oceanic Ships (some can be seen in the backgrounds of some maps, housing jets like the Wombat)
