Halo 4 Scorpion, 343i please fix!!!!!

Hey
Just starting a thread, hoping for a bit of feedback, and hopefully a fix.

You can no longer plant a grenade in the back of the Scorpion or Wraith in Multiplayer, does anyone else think this is a stupid idea?

Two points supporting this silly idea is that if the tank has a gunner, no one is going to blow up that tank, short of a Splaser, rockets or sniping the gunner first, which basically eqauls a rampage+ for the tank driver on BTB Exile…
Secondly, and probably the most important fact is that you can actually kill someone who is boarding the front of your tank, even though “apparently” it has a no fire zone…So again, rampage+ for the tank driver, because anyone that tries to board gets blown away, although after probably four tries the scorpion would have taken enough splash damage from its own shells.
My point is that if you’re in a scorpion or wraith (or any vehicle for that matter), it’s your job to be aware of potential boadrers, hijackers, etc, not just be able to see someone hop on, them simply blow up with the main gun, with little damage to yourself…

As an afterthought, while removing the plant grenade in the rear feature might promote team cooperation (true up to a point), if one team is spawn killing the other team with a Scorpion or controls power weapons, they might as well just give the Scorpion team the game right then, cause the other team won’t be killing that tank anytime soon…
At least with a Wraith, if it gets EMP’d it can’t fire its main gun…

They need bigger maps, that’s all I can say. I’m glad they brought back the tank, that’s one thing I didn’t like that bungie did.

I’ve seen Spartans hanging off the back of Wraiths while planting. Last map was on Exile. Just have to charge plasma pistol the thing before doing so. Me and another guy were double teaming this Wraith… I would shut it down and he would zoom in and plant the nade.

If you want bigger maps, try Big Team Infinity Slayer.

I’ve destroyed both vehicles from the rear with a nade, it still work’s.

5 headshots to the gunner, plasma pistol the tank, repeat, plant grenade.

Haha, I know how to take down a tank with a PP, my point was that you’re unlikely to live long enough to do it, if you’re getting spawn killed
Hmm, it might be a localised glitch, although I’ve tested it with quite a few friends and we can only melee the back of the tank, not plant a grenade…Interesting…

It is still pretty easy to take out with the plasma pistol, anyway, the way I see it, if a team manages to get spawn killed by a scorpion on big team, is by sheer incompetence, and therefore deserves the outcome.

I agree with DJ, Halo 4 maps are all awfully small.

I personally hate how you can’t approach a Mantis from any angle and jump up on it. Makes it frustrating on Ragnorok.
