Halo 4 scoring

While watching the Halo 4 VIDoc with a friend, we discovered that at a specific frame, medals appeared on the screen along with 5’s underneath them. Upon further analysis, the medals correlated to the score as with 2 medals of values of 5, the score went up by 10. (5+5=10) In the pictures are a before and after of the score along with a look at the medals.

What do you think this means for the scoring system? Will this be a common form of scoring? What are each of the medals representing?

Medals prob. mean Headshot, and Close call.

And there is a topic on this already but I think its on page 2 to 4.

This means there will probably be a new gametype on getting points instead of individual kills to encourage teamwork to get assist medals.

I couldnt find any post about how medals create the score.

Just hope this isn’t how all the scoring systems are going to be.

It would be interesting to see that full kills are worth something around 10 points as assists are worth 5, definately would encourage teamwork… I like it.

The numbers underneath the medals probably just represent the number of that particular medal you achieved in that match.

That’s good because that means assists are recognised.
