Halo 4 Sangheili

It has beeing widely known that the Sangheili are not going to appear in Halo 4.This is really tragic as there will be no connection between Halo 4 and the previous Halo games. How would be Halo without the Sangheili (Elites).Even spartan players agree that Halo would not be the game we all loved with its release in 2001.Right now elite players as well as spartan players threaten of not buying the game if Elites do not appear in it.One reason why the Elites should appear in Halo 4 is that since the Humans are focused on rebuilding if the Elites do not appear as MC’s alies then MC will be alone during the whole game.Further more 343 industries will sell a few million copies less only due to the abscence of the Elites. Why should we always be forced to play as spartans. Why should HALO 4 lose any remaining connection with its prequels.**Please all Sangheili players message 343industries or post an “agree” comment so that I, the SRF and the CSF can message the company for adding the elites in Halo 4.Spartan players can do the same if they like.**If HALO loses its top game place due to elite abscence it will be your fault as you would not have done anything for that.

How do you know their not in? I mean, on the way back to sangheilios the arbiter could bump into the forerunner planet-thingy. What i really hope for is that there’s ODST in H4, and that we’re getting to ride an ODST drop pod again.

But yeah, i really want the elites to appear. Aswell as the Marines/ODSTs

Frankie said no purple at E3, not to mention the new trilogy is going to expand on humans, forerunners and “older races”. this is the true halo story.

maybe in multiplayer at least.

If anyone would seriously not buy the game JUST because they couldn’t play as an Elite…then I doubt they actually enjoy the story. The storyline focuses around ancient technology influencing what is going on in the present, when no one knows much of anything about it. I’d MUCH rather learn more about forerunners than continue learning about the Sangheli.

> maybe in multiplayer at least.

I would bet this ^

Elites have been a part of Halo since the very beginning. In halo 2 it was fun being able to play as the arbiter alongside the elites. In halo 3, it was fun to customize my elite as i obtained more armor from various achievments. Hovever, in halo reach the elites looked too based off of halo wars, which in no way improved their appearance. Also, the elite customization in reach was very limited. You barely ever played as elites in reach matchmaking, which was a dissapointment. I hope for halo 4, the following things would happen

-elite armor is obtained through earning credits
-elites are returned to the same size as humans
-players can play as elites in any gametype if they prefer the elite over the spartan{like halo 3}

Dont get me wrong, i like to play as a spartan in reach. im currently and eclipse with 100% armory completion. When i get bored of playing as a spartan i like to play as an elite, but i am prevented from actually playing as one in matchmaking. I am hopeful that 343 will make halo 4 a game that is flexible as far as character customization goes, but overall, i just want the game to be fun.

Yes, I would love to play as an Elite in Halo 4. Atleast in MM.

i’m fine with this as long as the elites are larger then spartans.

I want the Elites to be the same size as they are in Reach. They actually feel nice in Reach, and you can tell the difference between being a Spartan and an Elite. Now I wouldn’t mind the Elites having armor sets, in Halo 4, as long as they have a good selection to choose from. I REALLY want to play as an Honor Guard… In saying that I would like to have AT LEAST these sets, or pieces:
Arbiter (Thel 'Vadamee)
Arbiter (Ripa 'Moramee)
Ascetic
Assault
Combat (from Halo: CE)
Combat (Halo 3)
Commando
Councilor
Headhunter’s "Death Squad"
Fleet Master
Flight
Heretic
Honor Guard
Imperial Admiral
Rtas 'Vadamee (or at least an option somewhere to have a ripped jaw, sort of like the robotic are for Spartans in Reach.)
Samurai
Supreme Commander

I hate to burst your bubble. However, if 343 Industries made the Sangheili take part in the new Halo trilogy, it would confuse me very much. After the Raid of Installation 04B, the Sangheili discontinued assisting the United Nations Space Command fight The Flood due to its neutralization. The Sangheili travelled once again to their home planet of Sanghelios. I am sure that when John-117 realized that a Covenant vessel was magnetizing the aft section of the UNSC Forward Unto Dawn, not only will he be surprised, but he will realize that since there is no other person on board the UNSC vessel, he will be all on his own with no assistance from the Covenant separatists or the UNSC. John or Cortana probably do not have any form of communication with the UNSC other than using distress beacons. The UNSC was severely traumatized after the Human-Covenant War, not to mention the trouble in the colonies that have not been glassed started an uprising against the UNSC, even after the war against the Covenant Empire. Cortana most likely does not know the location of Sanghelios, nor does she probably know how to establish communications with it, not that they will listen. Even if Cortana contacted Sanghelios, they probably are rejoicing to their oblivious idea that the Covenant had been defeated for the last time, ignoring the distress beacon. To sum all this information up, I believe that it would be strange if the Sangheili were to fight with John because they were not that loyal to the UNSC.

@Poster above me.

I think that Elites really have no palce in Halo 4 of one reason. Because whatever John and Cortana are drifting into it looks like a machine world, probably a forerunner world. And it’s made of metal it seems and i doubt Elites or Anyone else would live on that place. Elites would have a place in Multiplayer just not Campaign.

You should post that in the feedback thread, dude. I would love for 343 to do something like that. Same for the Spartans. Being able to unlock Kelly, Fred, Sam… and so on and so forth, as playable characters in the MP, would be brilliant.

Oh, and I wouldn’t say that there’s no chance of Sangheili warriors showing up in the game. Perhaps the Arbiter was brought there, like 'Chief, to serve some other purpose. Maybe when he said ‘no purple’ he simply meant this won’t be about the Covenant. The colour may still show up, but only via a single Sangheili ship, or one of their weapons.

Uh. I don’t think Arbiter will be there. Im Halo 3 he went home with the other Elites. I don’t they will be where John is at though.

Halo, without Elites!? How outrageous! They could at least have them in Multi-player.

There has been slim to no information released on the Plot of Halo 4. All we know is at some point MC gets new Armor. Thats IT.

Don’t jump to conclusions. I’m sure the Elites, Covenant Loyalists, Sentinels, Flood, and UNSC will all have some hand in the events of the new Trilogy.

I know where the game left Arbiter, but who knows what has happened post Halo 3. Who’s to say that his fate isn’t tied into what’s to happen? There’s a good chance we could see Elites in Halo 4, especially the Arbiter.

I’m pretty sure that the various species of the Covenant will play some sort of role in the game, especially the Elites, they’re just as much major players in the Halo Universe as the Humans, at least in the time period of the present. I don’t think the Covenant will have a major part to play, their primary role in the story is finished, doesn’t mean that none of them will appear though.

I don’t understand how this is the waypoint forums but everybody is less informed than the people on bungie, yet people attack bungie for trolling and what not. Atleast the trolls know what they are trolling about.

Frankie said in an interview directly after CE was announced that there was “no purple” you have youtube so you can look that up.

Halo 4 is also a new trilogy in which if you haven’t played the others you will be fine starting here, another indication that it woun’t be related to the past games plot wise.

The enemy for the new trilogy is said to be new, ancient, evil, and a threat to the universe

The covenant and forerunners do not fit that bill, the flood don’t ether but i am positive they will appear seeing how they are the reason for everything

This.^

The true story of Halo is about the Forerunners, the Flood and the consecuences they left behind. The Covenant are one of those consecuences, nothing more, their role was to be just the hand who wanted to activate the Halos again, but they’re out now and aren’t needed, and the percent of people who care about Sangheili is almost nil, seriously, I can’t connect more with a four-jawed species than with a bad–Yoink- human soldier who stands as the last hope of our race. Meaning his bad–Yoink- adjetive the fullest developt of human capacity; agaisnt all odds but always winning. I think that’s what matters in Halo.
