What I got out of Halo 4 @ RTX
Multiplayer gameplay:
- It was harder to splatter someone. You needed to hit them just right to splatter someone (Used the Hog and ghost)
- After observing the weapons that others used plasma pistol and scattershot at close range is the way to go. I had chosen to use the DMR and BR. The BR seemed to take longer to kill someone. I wrecked with the DMR, it’s way better than the Reach version.
- The weapon drops/skill enhancements after 5 kills was nice. It was way better to unlock overshield during a firefight rather than having to leave a battle to go grab the overshield.
Forge Demo:
- Highlighted and Name- Showing the name of the current item the cursor is hovering over as well as highlighting the object will definitly save time and be less stressful
- Duplicate- awesome! Being able to pick the same object as highlighted instead of going back through the list will save time.
- Lock- Being able to lock an item down so you can’t accidently move an object was much needed and awesome.
- Dynamic Lighting plus shadows- This should have been in there before and will be awesome.
- Magnets- aligning pieces just got easier and when used with duplicate just got faster.
- Player Trait Zone- Are you serious? This will change how anyone will forge a map. The possibilities of what you can do with this will be worth seeing.
