My friend told me that if I get to inheritor on halo reach that i will get something in Halo 4. He said that someone confirmed it on this site, so I looked all over and I couldn’t find it anywhere. Could someone please tell me what I get or if I will even get anything. Any help would be really appreciated, Thanks.

I doubt it. I don’t think they would exclude the vast majority of players like that. Any thing related to reach in terms if reward would probably be like the waypoint armor. Getting achievements and milestones.

Your friend is lying. Nobody has ever gotten anything for completing the highest rank in previous Halo’s and I’m damn sure it isn’t going to start now.

That definitely has not been confirmed or mentioned by 343. Although I hope that they have unlocks/rewards based off of your waypoint career milestones like they had for halo reach.
You finally get home from the Halo 4 launch, and put the disc in your X Box. The starts up fine, and runs perfectly, until you try machmaking. A message pops up:
“It appears that you are an Inheritor in Halo:Reach. Therefore, for the next week, we would like to go outside, meet new people, and get some fresh air. Your multiplayer feature has been locked until then.”
The look on your face would be priceless.

Pahahahaha, this. I’m an Inheritor myself, and this really applies. I SO much want a recognition for all the Halo stuff I’ve done. Every achievement in every halo game of all time (minus Wars, just a few short), Legendary Solo every Halo game, SLASO Deathless Reach, Inheritor, etc.
Just like, unlock my shotgun loadout right away, and everything is worth it.
