Halo 4 remastered?

It would be nice if later this year, or early next year for the xbox one, we got a halo 4 legendary edition. It would include a built in ranking system which is displayed in game, along with search filters, and firefight. It would come with all dlc, including the armors (odst, mark 5), new maps, and missing gametypes like assault, one flag, race.

All this should come through title updates or DLC, not another game, otherwise what was the point of buying the original game in the first place?

Maybe an all DLC included edition. Any new gametypes should be reintroduced via updates.

Also it should be for the 360 not the Xbone. As far as I am aware there is no cross play between 360 and Xbone.

Why re-release Halo 4 for the Xbox One when you could just play it on your 360? Plus, I’d rather see them focus on making Halo 5 a great game rather than waste their efforts remastering Halo 4… Which just came out…

  1. They don’t need to do this, they can do this through updates.

  2. They have Halo 5 on the way. They need to have a solid game this time around. (Its their last chance with the Community.)

  3. They also have H2A potentially, so they got plenty on their plate. Yeah all they are doing is updating graphics, but really its still time consuming and I assume that takes time away from making Halo 5 supremely crafted.

just to point out the same people who made CEA (Saber Interactive and Certain Affinity) will make H2A, 343 will have nothing to do with it, they’ll just say it’s there own.

Ahhhhh. Didn’t know that nice info.

I’d buy (again & discounted) a remastered Halo 4 edition that used the X1 dedicated Azure servers. Anything else like in game rank etc would just be gravy on top of those regional servers.

I’d rather them spend time making Halo Xbox One amazing than adding new features to Halo 4 and then rewriting it to work on Xbox One.

Perhaps if you have Halo 4 achievements when you send your account to Xbox One you can download it

I don’t see the point of re-releasing Halo 4 with a ranking system and other very minor additions.

Would make much more sense to just focus on releasing Halo 5.

The word you’re looking for is “Port,” not “Remaster.” Just get the game functional on the X1 and ship it out. No need to waste other resources on making it an improved game.

I’d just rather them make the next great, instead of going back and splitting resources when it really doesn’t need to be done.
