Since Halo 4’s released, a lot of people have been unsatisfied with the way music was implemented into the game, or that it wasn’t in there at all. I too, felt that not enough of the OST was used, and there was also another problem: music volume.
In many cases, the volume of the music was too low or was rendered inaudible due to what was happening on screen. It was unsatisfying because there were many chances for 343 to improve the presence of music. This project’s goal is to do just that, and hopefully make it more memorable to the viewers.
Here is the list of missions uploaded so far:
Dawn
Requiem
I’d like some comments/feedback about this “test run”. Here are some questions I’d like focus on:
Was the music selection good?
Are there certain scenes that I should leave untouched? or do they need music added?
How was the volume of the music? Is it too low, good, or too loud?
Do you have any suggestions that could improve the project?
If you have any other thoughts on your mind, please share them
That was a pretty beastly remaster!
Personally I wish 343 made the music at 50%
of the decibles. I was completely lost during
dialogue since the music was over-powering the
speech. It was only when I went back to do the
campaign on Legendary Solo with subtitles on did
I even realize the Promethians are humans turned
digital when the Didact used the Composer on them.
Even the Spartan Ops behind the scenes video was near
impossible to understand, because a lot of the speakers
are a type of people known as “mumblers” due to their
lack of vocal projection, and they were being drowned-out
by the music.
I don’t know why Halo can’t have separate music, SFX, and
dialogue volume controls with a master volume as well.
343 should hire you; you seem to know what you’re doing.

Thanks for your perspective. Although, I can’t say that I experienced that same issue, but I’ve added it to the list of questions for further feedback.
