I posted this previously in another section but I feel that it should be here as well.
So upon blowing up the covenent ship and jetpacking back onto the mammoth. It starts driving onto thin air in what looks like where the map should be, The map never loads though and eventully it just disappears and I fall off the map and die. I cannot get past this part. I’ve tried three times now and all the time the map just stops and the mammoth continues to drive through the air. This looks to be a big problem. I cant even progress through the level because half the level isn’t there! Please look into this.

You’re lucky you even get that far - I already posted a thread as I don’t even get the Covenant ship to board. There is just this really horrible noise and cannot progress any further.
Had exactly the same thing happen to me on the Xbox 360 version, and a reinstall sorted it. I’m hoping that this will be the same.
This game was a cash grab and should had been delayed. There is no reason why a game should be released this broken. I don’t understand it. I already got a refund for my copy because its a beta, not an actual game.
lmao I just have to say that is too funny. It’s so messed up, and I’m sorry you have to deal with that. Have you tried uninstalling (everything that has to do with it) and re-installing? That’s absolutely ridiculous.
I also am having this issue. I have restarted the level and mission a few times and its in the same place where cortanna says something about thinking herself to death. The ground just disappears and I have even had the mammoth disappear from under my feat as well. I can walk around a little bit but cant get anywhere.
I’m having the same issue. After boarding and disabling the Covenant ship, I hop back onto the Mammoth and watch as it drives us out onto thin air. I can’t finish the mission.
How was this not discovered and fixed before release? On top of the matchmaking debacle, game-breaking campaign bugs persist two months after release. Bad form, 343i. Fix it, please.
Ah having the same issue right now. pretty annoyed and shocked that this thread is from like… launch and this -Yoink- is still happening. Now I’m not sure what to do becuase I’d rather not uninstall/reinstall… 343, you may not be bungie but iv sunk a ton of money into halo, hell even my old 360 was the halo edition (that I traded my old plain one in for). All for 343 to be dropping The ball like this really worries me… please fix this yesterday.
I just redid the level slower but I found speed running that problem never occurred look up naked Eli’s speedrun for the level it ha sent happened since I have done it his way

I had to resort to unplugging my xbone to reset it’s ram, and then playing through the mission. Eventually got through it.
AAAA jajajajaja best glitch eveeer, till like after 20 deads with my friends then it got bored and we ended up killing each other till, we boot each other out of the mission for fun. LOOOOL there is still fun moments and epic fails to be had trought all 4 halos campaings. AWESOME.
