I think the ranking system in Halo 4 will be Reach’s, because of the SIXTH PICTURE on this page.
Thoughts? Opinions?
Well, that doesn’t mean there won’t be any 1-50 rankings…
but it was pretty much obvious.
Not the Reach grind system =.-. Look if i want to play an MMO or Digimon World 3 again i will.
I hope there is still going to be a ranking system. If it’s Reach progression alone, i am going to become much more…critical (pun not intended) towards Halo 4.
It’s an old build probably just what they were using during that build. A reworked system of Reach’s could work as long as there is a skill system that’s hidden that actually works, Getting annoyed at Reach’s I either play BK’s and run them over or play a team of 4 1% onyx and me with 3 BK randoms and get ran over. Or both a credit system and a 1-50 system.

Eh i already knew it was an old build but let’s hope there is some sort of system matching players with skill. Not randomized mess that Reach was (no trueskill, it wasn’t there no one can say otherwise even proof) just for speeding up search times.
Both systems can exist a rank and a progression system.

I agree with there not being a ranking system in Reach if there is it’s broken.
Except that EXP (I believe) has already been more or less confirmed to be performance based instead of what Reach does…
Besides, (even if I recalled that wrongly) if you were to make the 1-50 system of H2 and H3 visual you would still get that screen you see there.
So having a screen with EXP +0 and a bar being filled towards a next level is by no means an indication there won’t be a 1-50 system.
And just because there is a Reach icon being shown also doesn’t mean there won’t be 1-50. For all we know there are 50 ranks and each one of those has an appropriate icon attached to it…
How about you guys stop drawing conclusions when seeing new screens/reading new info and just speculate about it at most?

How there is no info to prove any of this it’s all just speculation from a screen shot. I still have hopes there will be a real skill system even if it is hidden.

You can see he’s in the “credit reward menu” and the progress bar is at the bottom. Yeah…

I understand your aggravation if it is true but that’s not justifiable reason not to buy the game over.

And it’s simple showing a credit reward menu what after that menu? Just because of that little bit doesn’t mean a ranking system isn’t there, and considering it’s an old build it may not have a skill system in it.
There better be a good ranking system… at least in a couple of playlists.

I understand that I’m just trying to stay positive it’s an early build so it may have been left out, or they may have just not completed tweaking the system or yes it may simply not have it.

Who do you mean by “The others” and how are they “crazy”?
Just letting you know, Killa KC and others could(and probably) have been forced to say positive things about the game and weren’t allowed to tell people everything they’ve seen.
if they were able to say everything they’ve experienced, there would have been a larger review by Killa KC or someone else.

LOL really No body is acting insane you are using an old build as a example and it isn’t really all that hard to think that a skill based ranking system wasn’t put in a old build. I’m not saying that Halo 4 will have a skill based system hidden or not. It for all I know wont have it but you know about of much about halo 4 as I do which is nothing that is solid or 100%. I am simply choosing to not bash a game cause of a system that hasn’t been confirmed.
