When I was looking at some of the gameplay that came out I noticed that the ragdoll seemed slow/tight (giggity) and not as free as Reach’s ragdoll.
In case you dont know what ragdoll means: A model consisting of a set of connected rigid bodies that can collapse in a loose, natural manner
Anyone else think it looks a little rigid?
it sure is better than reach’s ragdolls, but i wish they would return to halo 2’s ragodolls where people would actually fall backward if you hit melee’d them or they’d do a backflip(sort of) if you sniped or headshotted them.
instead of the ragdoll folding in on itself whenever a pummel/beatdown or an explosion occured (like in reach)
seriously, the folding made no sense. each body part should probably have its own collision during the ragdoll sequence
otherwise, i would settle for the H4 ragdolls for now
They are so much better than Reach’s, they feel more real and more in-depth. Best death animations out of all the Halos by far.
I hated the ragdoll effects in reach, they were too rigid when on the ground and always imploded whenever hit, shot, or exploded.
Not to mention there was only like, body positions in the entire game.
-On back, limbs spread &
-On Face, limbs spread.
Totally boring.

this is so true

It seems like you are just trolling reach for the heck of it…
They looked fine to me .
At least better then in Reach .
