Halo 4 Quick Questions

I don’t have Xbox Live Gold or access to the internet. Can anyone tell me if I should get Halo 4? What is there to do purerly offline? Is it worth the asking price of sixty dollars? Any help would be greatly apperciated. I really want this game, from what I’ve seen 343i has done a great thing with the franchise. I’ve been a Halo fan from the beginning, but i am not made of money. I would love to hear what 343i has to say about my predicament. As well as anyone else who has an opinion.

If you’re a fan of the campaign, I’d wait until it’s on sale.

Otherwise, it probably isn’t the game for you. Most games these days require an internet connection to get the most out of them; Halo 4 is no exception.

Do you know what exactly can be done offline? Is campaign my only option? I assume forge will be available as well? And from what I understand I cannot earn experience in either of those modes.

Okay, if you’re offline you have access to:

Campaign
War games (custom games only)
Forge
Multiplayer theatre

You can earn experience in Forge. If that sounds good to you then by all means buy it, but you’d be missing out on the DLC that comes with the game; updates; daily, weekly and monthly challenges; Spartan Ops and Matchmaking - among other things.

Thanks, I might just wait till its on sale and pick it up then.
