Whats all this i hear of a invisible rank system no where have i seen 343 say this. All this is is rumor/speculation. The skill system will be invisibel and used for match finding only but everyone has a progression rank and that will be visible. If 343 has said from there mouths the ranks are invisble please link.

what he said. Its very disappointing you have always been able to see them I dont know what possible reason 343 has made so you couldnt see them. why would they do this its quite pointless

It has not been confirmed at all, Frankie just said that this kind of ranking system could have been one of the possibilities for Halo 4.
Exactly all frankiea and 343 said was the 1-50 not coming back and at e3 they said multiple times its a progression system the invisible skill number is used only to find matches and has no relation to your rank
