halo 4 prologue interrogator, Jun??

This is one of my first posts here (i ussually ghost the forums)
I recently watched the prologue trailer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aMDe4lrJaRg for the sheer awesomeness of the cgi and thought who could be the shadowed man??

  • He is baldish like Jun
  • he is trying to find out what made the spartan 2 project so successful, as we know Jun was one of the masterminds of the spartan 4 project.
  • Halsey says “the others before you were naval intelligence but you your something els” this might lead us to believe he is physically abnormal for example he may be overly muscular for his height like a spartan 3 could be.

Obviously Halsey doesn’t seem to recognize him and his accent is different however he could be putting on the voice to remain anonymous , as halsey never saw him without a helmet. Thoughts and opinions??

The guy didn’t sound anything like Jun, so I doubt it. Maybe we will find out later?

Not too much of a stretch to think this, I would think Jun would bring him into play in another way however.

But, who knows right?

She knows who Jun is. This is REALLY stretching.

Good point, Reach. I retract my statement.

just spitballing ideas, halsey may have not seen jun helmet less so the ball may not have dropped (she has met a lot of spartans) in a suit he could come off as a spook like in the initiation comic.

Halsey has seen Jun helmetless

My guess was someone heavily involved/invested in the Spartan-IV project. Possibly even a Spartan-IV himself. I don’t recognize the voice actor.

But it has no supporting evidence besides some subjective things like, “He’s bald.” I’m willing to bet A LOT of folks in the UNSC/ONI are bald. Jun isn’t the interrogator, the fact we haven’t seen him referenced again is probably a sign that he isn’t that important to dwell on, much less be a former major character.

Jun has a Hispanic accent, the interrogator had a normal American accent. And the interrogator was kept in the shadows, we didn’t get to see who it is, could possibly come into play later on…

It’s the IsoDidact in disguise, duh.

The interrogator also didn’t have the fistful of arrows tattoo on his head either. There are portions where the left side of his head is illuminated and the tattoo would be visible

> halsey may have not seen jun helmet less

She saw him without his helmet on at the end of the ONI Sword Base mission after the Corvette was destroyed. Given that she’s capable of recognising her own Spartans by the way they stand, even when they’re fully clad in armour, I dare say that she’d easily recognise the person she spent a significant amount of time with during the battle of Reach.

I don’t know. Maybe it’s Musa. That’s what I imagine him sounding like.

Wait, can he even walk?

(I didn’t read Initiation #1 so bare with me here).

seeing she trained musa and the guy can’t walk I am taking a bet its not him either,

No, he cannot walk, I’m telling you guys you gotta’ believe me, it’s the IsoDidact! XD

God you guys are all so wrong. The interrogator was actually the nanobots, who are the next form of Precursor.

The nanobots are also why the UNSC Forward Unto Dawn now looks like a Strident-class heavy frigate.

I think… It was just… an interrogator.

Probably just a lap dog of Musa’s
