Halo 4 Pre-Release Marathon Schedule

PLEASE HELP KEEP THIS ALIVE! I know there are a lot of people who wanted to do a marathon.

I will <mark>highlight</mark> the day we’re on for each schedule and will delete days that have passed

I’ve come up with a schedule for those of you who are wanting to run through the Halo story before launch. This schedule starts on September 18th and ends on November 5th. Here it is:

Absolute Chronology Version:

<mark>11/5: Finish Halo 3</mark>
<mark>Missions: Halo</mark>

11/6: Halo 4 Release
Missions: Don’t get fat, don’t overdose on awesome.

Basic Chronology Version

I don’t feel like doing the Halo:Reach and ODST campaigns. The whole point of my marathon is to get the feel of the Chief and Cortana again. I just need to focus on his Storyline, and I can’t only do one mission/day :S.

I love that this schedule starts mid-late september. This is definitely going to help me get through the 58 day wait. Thanks OP.

How many missions a day do you feel like playing? I wanted to create a schedule that start as soon as possible but I could create one final schedule for just the Chief campaign

I don’t really know, I like your schedule. It’s just that when you’re playing Halo Campaign how can you stop willingly? :S

I will be but nobody has to play legendary. I actually am thinking about playing everything but Halo CEA and ODST on Heroic and playing those on Legendary because they’re the only ones that I haven’t Legendary’d yet

If you don’t play Halo Wars you can not call it a Halo Marathon.

And play more than one mission a day.

I’ll be doing the “A Hero’s Tale Version” by myself minus the first game. I can’t stand CE, Reach, or Wars, and I just played ODST the other day. Halo 2 and 3 for me only. :stuck_out_tongue:

I am reading the books chronologically but I’m doing that separately

Absolute Chronology: Halo 1, 2, 3, ODST, and Reach in the order of things EXACTLY when they happened.

Basic Chronology: Halo 1, 2, 3, ODST, and Reach in chronological order but not cutting into campaigns that are already in progress. (Basically Absolute but you finish Halo 2 before starting ODST)

Complete Chronology: Absolute Chronology plus Halo Wars

A Hero’s Tale: (lol I wanted a cool name) Just the Master Chief story (Halo 1,2,3) also playing multiple missions every day
