What is the online population like?

Right now it’s at roughly 6500, I’d estimate it hits 20 000 during peak hours, with Slayer, BTB, SWAT, and Heavies being the most popular playlists (and the only ones to top 1000 players). I only really play the CTF playlist and it almost never gets much higher than 600.
I played at about 0 - 2 am (European Time) and there were ~9000 players. But because the matchmaking works, it’s no problem. Played Doubles & Snipers with 200 players online and found matches in 1 minute.
The game is great in few gametypes. I love to play Snipers & SWAT in H4, it’s awesome.

Hreach shows all player which are currently playing halo reach, h4 shows only the ones who are in matchmaking
So the difference in population isn’t that big
its low but i think halo 4 should have more players than it does yes 343 -Yoinked!- up but that doesnt mean its a bad game i loved halo 4 and im a halo vertern
I usually see roughly 10k people on each day most of them are on BTB or Team Slayer.
why not make halo 4 a free game with gold, that boosted the population when they did that to halo 3 and reach, why not 4 then if they already had it in MCC.

Was Reach ever made free with Gold?
I did get H3 with Gold but never saw Reach. Damn, I’d get that in a heartbeat.
