I like your idea. Except you’re missing multi-team. It just wouldn’t be 100% Halo if there was no multi-team included. I would probably fit it into the “classic Halo” section, assuming by classic Halo you mean no AA’s or other abilities.
Good suddivision, but where’s multi-team? it should be in the social group.

That’s actually an awesome compilation, OP. I’d be over-satisfied if that was the plan for the playlists. I’d be so happy to see home of my favourites return in the classic playlists.
Infinity slayer isn’t the regular slayer for Halo 4. It’s a variation of it. The regular slayer for Halo 4 isn’t classic slayer. Just pointing that out. I don’t know why people are forgetting the other slayer for default Halo 4.
Classic Halo section needs a Rumble Pit. And get rid of snipers as a classic playlist, Rumble Pit is more important.

3 different types of – why to many of the same playlists just with different settings would lower the population a ton sorry would never work .
IMO something like this would be awesome:
Ranked: ranking system, no character progression (equal starts, no loadouts or at least fixed loadouts)
Social: everything else

Regicide is an FFA gametype. Race hasn’t been confirmed yet. Objective looks a little lacking on game-modes (although more may be confirmed (Assault) ). Finally, Grifball is playable in some form and will most likely get it’s own playlist along with Spartan Ops.

Note: These are not “classic” playlists, they still play like Halo 4 and are not an emulation of prior Halo games. Certain random variables are removed purely for a more level playing field, so the skill ranks aren’t slanted or busted.
Social (All loud outs intact, purely progression ranks, open lobbies, ordnance drops in some playlists, etc):
- Infinity Slayer
- Infinity Objectives
- Infinity BTB
- Invasion (please 343?)
- Grifball
- Action Sack
- Multi-team

- Classic Halo (If they want to, I really don’t see the point)
I know it seems a lot like Halo 3, but Halo 3 did work really well at appealing to pretty much anyone and everyone who was into Halo multiplayer, be they casual, competitive, or whatever.
