Halo 4 - Player list wrong numbers?

For some reason lately every time I go on Halo 4 it says of incredibly low numbers across each playlist. The most being about 800 - 1000. Yet, after a match regardless if I complete or leave it. It updates to how it properly is.

Is this a glitch on my end or is it displaying the players only in the country or region?

Edit:
Sorry if this is in the wrong area. Not sure if it’d belong in Halo Waypoint, Halo 4 or Matchmaking Feedback. As I am not sure if it’s an error or not. And most bugs seem to be reported here.

This has happened to me quite a few times lately as well so it isn’t exclusive to you

I see… Must be something happening on their servers… What’s causing it though?

Wondering if I may bump this up for it to be noticed, or if it’ll be ignored.

Please avoid bumping threads as per the forum rules. =)

Rock, just to clarify, this discrepancy is something you’re seeing on the Halo 4 game itself?

Shalln’t happen again, and yes. It’s happened a few times. To the point where team throwdown had 3 players in it, and the most available was 700 for BTIS. Yet after a game the numbers shot up. I’m thinking it’s displaying the wrong numbers per load up.

Awesome, thanks for making that clear, really appreciate it.

Are you noticing this with specific game types or all playlists?

Would you mind walking me through your steps for when you see the incorrect numbers and also when you notice the issue corrects itself?

Really appreciate your help in figuring this out.

This is happening on all playlists. And it seems to happen when Halo 4 is first loaded up each time every few days that I play it.

It seems to correct after a game or two. Usually meaning about 30 minutes maximum due to two games of Big Team Infinity Slayer.

After that it goes to normal. But I don’t know what causes it or why it does it.

Last time it happened to me I was just sitting in the lobby starting at the playlists and suddenly the numbers dropped. Starting and ending a game in Customs, Forge or just searching & finishing a game in Matchmaking will make the proper numbers display again.

Although, when it happened to me a few days ago, the Playlist page on Waypoint was also displaying the incorrect numbers that were being displayed in-game.
