In regards to Halo 4’s multiplayer offering would you like to see the player cap increased from 16 to 24 or 32? If it is even feasible would you want your BTB to be upwards of 24-32 players? I personally have mixed feelings about it. With the original concept of Halo back on the Mac/Pc I thought it would be amazing to play a game that had more of a large scale battle focus, but as time has progressed and more time was spent within the Battlefields of the world, and some of the other games such as Mag on Ps3, I am no longer convinced that is the best route to go. If any game can pull it off successfully Halo would be that game, but oftentimes in games with little to no coordination, that many players just becomes a mess. Any thoughts? Interesting concept if it could be implemented correctly.
24 sounds just right and is a definite must for Halo 4 (not really but it SHOULD be featured). 32 is a bit extreme but if executed correctly it could turn out great.
24 guys on a Death Island style map would be fantastic.
BTS + Blood Gulch + 12-16 players per team…
BY THE NINE DIVINES, THIS MUST BE DONE.
awesome, if it is implemented correctly like you said.
The map needs to be done right. It’s all about the map layout. Is there enough cover? How are the spawns? Are there enough vehicles on the maps, or fast enough reload times, to compensate? How many bottlenecks/choke points are there? How easy is it for one team to spawn trap the other?
And then the biggest question:
Will it support BTB Team Snipers?!

I’m with you OP. If anyone can do it, Halo can. But if 343 doesn’t think they can do it justice, no way.
Ah, for one versed in Halo Custom Edition, you may remember Cold Snap. Enormous map, lots of vehicles, and lots of snipery sneakyness. Always wished it supported up to 32 players… The truth indeed is that it all depends on the map. I doubt it’d work on Blood Gulch.
