Halo 4 playable on the Xbox One?

Just curious, but does anyone know if Halo 4 will be on demand for the Xbox One? I would like to not keep switching back and forth with the 360 and One.

on demand, maybe, however, the console will not contain the hardware to play the game from the disk

We don’t know. So far, no Xbox Live Arcade, Xbox 360 games, and Xbox classic games will be playable on the Xbox 1 due to technical difficulties I can’t remember due to me being unhappy with their “always online” policy that they recently removed.

to answer your question, it hasn’t been said if they will but from what i remember reading, the XBONE was not going to have backwards playability, which imo kinda sucks and also everything you have bought on the market will not transfer over. i don’t have a link but if someone finds it please link it or if they have changed that whole deal.

“The system is based on a different core architecture, so back-compat doesn’t really work from that perspective.”

Couldn’t THE POWER OF THE CLOUD be used to stream games like OnLive?
That way we could have xbox one and xbox 360 people on the same matches and all!
