If any thing is a spoiler it’s the middle spoiler tag because I put it’s the Didact and I’m pretty sure it is the Didact and he could be the “Ancient evil” and no the the prometheans aren’t the ancient evil.

- We dont know if that is the Didact in those pictures.
- We dont know if those are Spartan IV’s pictured with the Chief.

first of all they look like (gen2) mjolnir armor to me and the idea that those are odst’s is ludicrous cuz there armor is all connected and has ALL the traits of mjolnir armor and none of basic odst (keep in mind there is a huge difference between there tech).

It sure as hell isn’t a Spartan IV. The armor looks nothing like anything we’ve seen of the S-IVs so far.
At the very least, change it to say “Master Chief with other Soldiers” or something until it’s confirmed they aren’t S-IVs.

Besides, if everything else is getting an overhaul, why wouldn’t the ODSTs? The person on the right of the screen is clearly a marine, and yet looks very little like what we’ve seen from previous titles.
Now look at the ODSTs. We have the signature blue visor, a very ODST-like helmet with the strip down the center of the helmet (something else very reminiscent of the ODSTs of all games). The Forearm armor doesn’t match mjolnir, nor does upper arm armor.

no are you kidding me there arm highly matches mater chiefs and past spartan armor. there helmets DO infact match odst’s i will give u that. but look at there right shoulder what is that huh its not a -Yoinking!- backpack it a piece of ther armor and oh it looks a whole lot like master chiefs armor and for -Yoinks!- SAKE we ALL know there are many variants of spartan armor (reach) and 343i posted for the (gen2) mjolnir armor that many companies have been making new variants. now prove me wrong mrs. i know it all
ALSO no odst have every had FULL metal armor they had little metal armor just slightly more than marines!

It looks nothing like the Chief’s armor. Take it from a Graphic Designer, there are quite a few difference between the Chief’s armor, the S-IV armor, and the armor worn by the ODSTs in that picture.
There are plenty of ODST armor varients, just like Mjolnir. And again you can’t count too much on the old stuff when it comes to Halo 4. Everything has been given a graphic overhaul.
I’m pretty sure it’s a Spartan IV 343 did say Master Chief will meet up with some Spartan IV’s and they look like Spartan’s too.

Dude look at the spartan at the back of the warthog in this picture and tell me his armor doesnt some what resemble the side view of the red spartan in this picture. They both have the same basic shape and silhouette and you can clearly see he has the thruster pack like all the other spartans, he also has the same butt pad armor thing that all the other spartans have. Now you cant seriously look at all that and tell me it’s an ODST. The only way that would be an ODST is if they started giving regular ODST’s MJOLNIR, which is higly unlikly.

I’ve seen both of those, but they look very different. Yes, some elements are similar and the silouettes are similar too, but this has been the case with ODSTs and Spartans for a while. ODST armor is based on advances from the Mjolnir project, so a lot of elements will likely be similar.
However, there are still big differences. The soldiers in this picture and this one are ODSTs and marines.

Uh, I have never once thought and ODST’s armor looked like a spartan’s. Never in the past has and ODST’s armor been confused with a spartan’s.
