Skip to 6:36. How do you like the look?
Personally I love the direction they’re taking… seems really sci-fi and fits the feel of the game. I’m completely open to changes like this, I loved the trilogy but its good to get a fresh perspective, instead of the same basic concept with better graphics. It almost looks like the Halo take on the Republic Gunship from star wars.

Who says thats a Pelican? Who says that’s not a new variant of ariel vehicles for the UNSC?
Be it Pelican or not though, It looks fine to me from that perspective. Hopefully we’ll see some actual in-game pics that have the right textures soon.
Still looks like a Pelican to me. And that’s more than I can say about the Grunts…

I didn’t think about that but yeah I guess that could be the case. I assumed it to be the Pelican I can’t think of a reason 343 would introduce a new vehicle that seems to serve the same purpose… and look almost exactly the same.
This may be better than having people scrub a video.
The front of it reminds me a bit of the Russian Mi-24 with how curved and “bubbly” it looks, and makes me a bit sad if that’s the case. But I’ll reserve my final opinion when a more finished version is revealed.

Looks like… A pelican.
Doesn’t look any different to me.
can’t really pass a judgement on that image but it looks pretty much the same. though, it’s likely unfinished and the final version may appear quite different than that image.

Oh my… I can’t believe they changed the Pelican as well. They’ve given it bigger wings (because it really needs wings right?) and the double bubble canopy off a Hind helicopter.
Hopefully that was just concept work… but that is just terrible.
