So there’s a lot of idea when it comes to aesthetics. But we shouldn’t add too much or else it would effect the overall gameplay value. So what do you think of the aesthetic ideas on these threads what ideas should you like to see in Halo 4? Imo
- When rvb (Team combat)choose different shades to keep it from feeling dull.
-Heavily customiozable visors with some default ones. Can never see my stuff against the blue sky. >.<
- Armor, Duh :p, more so than in reach but not a lot.
That’s all. IMO any more might detract from gameplay. (They can’t spen all resources on aesthetics or else what would they have for gameplay?)
I want higher/better looking aesthetics even if it means less choices. I want more armor that I WANT to wear and not armor that I will NEVER use.

In Reach I think all of the armor was pretty cool EXCEPT for body armor. I always use default because everything looks notoriously hideous.
I didn’t like most of the armour in reach it just didn’t feel Halo.
The shoulders and chests primarily.
I think that all team based objectives should follow a system similar to the Reach’s Beta while on Invasion. Where it’s basically your team’s color with a hint of your individual color. And it would be cool if your visor’s color was based on your team.
As for armor…I would also like to see the a evolution set. Or in other words, The armor iterations of Halo CE, 2, and 3 for MP. Maybe even split the Mark V helmet in to two.
First: Halo CE/CEA, Reach
Second: Halo 3, Halo Wars
Actually. Speaking of Halo Wars, would anyone else like to see it’s iteration the mjolnir armor? Because Ensemble did a VERY nice job making it look advanced and high tech.

Which ones? I know that the lunch box helmet felt weird but other than that I felt all armor except chests fit right in. The shoulders in Reach were the best IMO. They had a lot of great looking shoulders that didn’t feel to alienish. But the elite armor in Halo Reach was absolutely horrid. It often protuded giving an awkward appearance.
I absolutely agree with every suggestion you’ve given, especially the one with the different shades of red and blue. Or if not that idea, maybe they could do it like Halo 2 where some of your primary colour shows up on your armour as your secondary colour.
Visors obviously need more colours, they should give you a colour wheel (as well as with the armour colour, mind you) to pick whichever colour you want.
And yes, they need more armour and new customization options. Lower legs, both wrists and the ability to put whichever type of attachment on any helmet rather than just pre-determined combinations are just some of the customization ideas they should implement.

I prefer different shades such as blue is given purple, violet, indigo, white maybe, etc. The thing with the secondary color option is it always makes my spartan look hideous. With shades you can tell which team you’re on AND look fashionable.
