Proof.
To give you a bit of perspective on the scale of this;
- Halo CE OST, 65:08 minutes long.
- Halo 2 OST, 138:08 minutes long
- Halo 3 OST, 120:08 minutes long
78 minutes of this are in the game, I hope they’re a bloody good 78 minutes to warrant the relegation of another 3 hours…
How do you feel about this?
I’m personally very excited, I think Davidge has proven himself to be a fine replacement for Marty.
Full OST details.
Well most music tracks go roughly about 3-8 minutes long (most tracks from other games is usually that long) so HOLY YOINK! THATS ALOT.
Why am I instantly reminded of AngryJoeShow?
But HOLY -Yoink-!

Got Forum (CENSORED) by my friend lol.
I think it is awesome that we get such a long soundtrack!
I remember someone said earlier that it was like 90 minutes and some people got pretty upset… glad to see it’s wrong.
Some of it I believe is Spartan-Ops as well though.
That’s about twice as long as the others…I’m taking this as unofficial confirmation that the campaign will be much longer than those we’ve already seen in Halo games.
what?

Maybe you should check the rest of the post before you make a thread like this, as clearly said in the link in the tweet, it’s 4 hours of music squeezed into 78 minutes. So it’ 1 hr, 18 minutes long.

Damn, I got overly excited by the initial message.
Still, overall 4 hours of music composed for the game is very impressive. I hope that the 78 minutes is better than the 3 hours sacrificed for it.

It’s funny, because I while ago, they released us the ost minute count, so why are they doing it again? This isn’t news. I doubt it’s 4 hours too. It was around your number.
